Hi, I plan to make a 900 point Mordor army. Here is it:

Fell beast-shadow lord - 250
5C warg+shield+cap - 160
4C morannon orc+shiel+cap - 150
3C Black Guard of Barad Dur+cap+bann - 235
3C Morgul Stalker - 105

exactly 900 points

I almost have all of the figures. My black guard formation is a converted formation, from mordor ork with plastic, green stuff, and a lot of painting. My morgul stalker team is under progression, Im going to by the 3 figures blister, and then I will convert 21 mordor orc. (i hate you GW, I always have to work a lot if I want a special team :-X )

My question is, what do you think about my army list? Is it effective?
I really like my Black guard team, the annoying thing that they are berserkers, so at dice 1 they hit each other.

I never used fell beast before, what is your suggestion, how to use it? I think face to face fight is not so good, because it has two life, like trolls, so it could slain easyli, isnt it? Swoop attack and 3 magic, I guess these two acts are proposed, am I right? I choose the Shadow lord, cause longrange shooting is not dangerous to him.

And a little bonus, here is my picture about my 800 ponts WOR. I played it Tuesday. I won :D . There was Mouth of Sauron in my army. You can see in little my Black Guard team. The enemy is Gondor.

I'm on a War of the RIng high having just come of the back of a tournament.

First thing I can see is you have no real big formation. 4 companies of Morrnaon orcs are good but 6 would be more ideal. You need a formation that can run headlong at the enemy lock them up and survive the experience. 4 trays of Morranon Orcs is not hard to get through, One cav charge to the flank and they are gone.

Second thing would be why are taking the Shadow? I know in SBG he is the bomb but in WotR thee are other Ringwraiths that are much better than him and I find I manage to drop Ringwraiths with magic not archery, As his special rule only affects archery.
I think a Ringwraith such as The Dwimalaik, The Tainted or The Betrayer would be a much better choice.

The Stalkers I fear might not get to see Combat, yes they ambush but with no captain they can't at the double and charging then becomes a problem. I think swapping them out for say an Epic hero or bolstering you other formation might not go amiss.

I don't have a lot of experience with Mordor armies, so I can't comment much, but I can say that I have not been impressed with the Ringwraiths on Fellbeasts. too fragile. I think you would be better served by taking an Epic hero wraith, dropping a captain (because the wraith can take his place) and using the freed up points to bulk up the infantry formations.

Hmm, Im going to think about it. No one has a good experience about Fell beast? Now I really want to use it.

Another thing, once I played against elfs. They had a great eagle. I almost won the game, but that irritating bird always did swoop attacks. So at the end the enemy won, cause I lost to many copmanies. That is why I thing a flying monster is a good choice. Its fast, terrian and soldiers doesnt matter, plus there is 3 magic. Transfix, visions of woe and Sunder spirit are cool effects.

I had a good experience with a Fell Beast once.

Of course, I was the other side and my Stone Giant swatted Khamul on a Fell Beast like a mosquito on turn 1, it was great.
