Post subject:  Minas Tirith runes

Hi, I'm working in some new Minas Tirith minis and I've looked for the kind of runes that could be used in Minas Tirith and the way that the great men of Gondor could be represented (Elendil, Isildur, Elessar, ...)

I've found a web page with different Gondor banners and with Elendil runes (in Tenwar) http://wiki.lindefirion.net/GondorFlags.

Is this right? Is the kind of writing that could be used in Gondor?

Thanks in advance

The Tengwar was invented by FĂ«anor of the Noldor used to write a number of the languages of Middle-earth, including Quenya and Sindarin. However, it can also be used to write other languages, such as English. The word Tengwar is Quenya for "letters". The corresponding singular is tengwa, "letter".

So in answer to your question, Yes the Tengwar could well have been used in Gondor.
