I think you need non-bow-wielding warriors from the fiefdoms list in order to field the 33% bow limit for that contingent. The warriors would also be highly useful if an enemy get to melee with you as your current list would be in dire straits otherwise. I don't know the stats for the Blackroot Vale Archers but I'd guess they are not great in melee. In any scenario where you can't just stand-and-shoot or turtle along firing as you go, I can see issues occurring with movement vs effectiveness of archers. |

Make sure Aragorn is mounted, with low numbers of troops you'll need him to get around the battlefield quickly |

The rules for Forlong the Fat and the Knights of Dol Amroth are in the sourcebook Gondor in Flames, which is unfortunately out of print. However, you can probably get a copy off the internet if you look around. The rules for the Knights of Dol Amorth can also be found in the main rules manual (the big, hardback one). |

I agree: get Aragon on a horse with armour---unless the Isildur's Heir special rules are worth it to you. Put your Rangers of the North on horse as well, and Forlong the Fat. A sprinkling of cavalry come in so handy for so many scenarios. Drop Halbarad. Blackroot Vale archers have a reroll aganst monsters, but can't have spears, if I remember... stick with your Rangers. I'd suggest: Strider w/ armour and horse 3 RoN mounted 12 Rangers w/ spear Forlong on Horse 15 Knights of DA on foot 12 Pikes (Men of Arms) 1 Ranger 700 points 45 units 9 (or 10?)+ might 13 bow Or trade Aragorn for Halbarad and get another 10 units: 20 elite shields and 16 Ranger bows...
