It has been a long time since I played some SBG, and thought it was best to first start get a hang on it with creating army lists again.
I have made two 700 pts lists now. The first one being Tower of Ecthelion and the other being Moria. I would love to hear what you
all think about them, and maybe have some advice what to look for next time I try to make a list.

Tower of Ecthelion:
Boromir, Captain of the White Tower, with horse, lance, shield
Captain of Minas Tirith, with shield
Warrior of Minas Tirith, with banner
10 Warriors of Minas Tirith, with shield
9 Warriors of Minas Tirith, with bow
10 Warriors of Minas Tirith, with shield, spear
6 Knights of Minas Tirith, with shield
Avenger Bolt Thrower, with swift reload

Moria:
Durbûrz
2 Moria Goblins Captains, with shield
Moria Goblin Shaman
13 Moria Goblin Warriors, with shield
12 Moria Goblin Warriors, with bow
13 Moria Goblin Warriors, with spear
10 Moria Goblin Prowlers, with two-handed weapon
Cave Troll
Moria Goblin Drum
Spider Queen, (Ally from Dol Guldur)

For Moria, drop the Goblin Captains, swap the Goblin Drum for Blackshield Drummers, swap the Goblins with shiels for Prowlers with shields or blackshields, and swap the archers for prowlers with nows. With remaining pts, swpa Cave Troll for Cave Drake.

For the Gondor lisrt, drop the bolt thrower, and the shields from the knighsd and increase your numbers as much as you can, swap your archers for rangers and give half of the, spears, drop the banner.

The Gondor list is very well rounded, but I agree with Gothmog- much too small. For whatever reason, Warriors of MT seem to do very well when they are burying the enemy in sheer weight of heavy armor. Cavalry is good, but don't get over ambitious with it- they are a fragile hammer. And I would drop the bolt thrower, if only because it becomes a very expensive liability when the crewmen are gone.

As for the goblins, while Gothmog's suggestions make it much more dangerous, it could be difficult to field, unless you have a horde of prowlers hiding somewhere. Or are just using regular goblins to pose, which works as well. I might be tempted to drop the drum in favor of another cave troll- at that point the only thing that is really going to put a stop to the Moria army is 1) someone with a F7 or higher, 2) lots of archers, or 3) someone with immobolize who is well-used. But 3 F6 S6 beasts running around on a board, particularly in an evil army, is never easily sniffed at. Usually.

And the suggestion about including Rangers in the Gondorian force is a very good one- don't hesitate to throw them into combat when the enemy gets close. Just pick your fights wisely.
