Post subject:  Morgul Knights help

Hi my friend just bought a set of morgul knights and we can't find the sbg stats for them anywhere. I feel a bit bad asking for them on here but the Mordor Sourcebook which included the stats is no longer availabe - I can't find it online anywhere and it's not available locally so I'm at a loss. If anyone could post the stats or point me in the right direction that would be fantastic. Are they included in the SBG Rulebook? I only have the condensed Moria version so I am not sure. If so, I will just buy that.

The Black Numenoreans have the same stats as Knights of Dol Amroth. They trade the KoDA rule for a scarier one. The Morgul Knights cost one point more than the KoDA on horse.

So are Black Numenoreans the same as Morgul Knights? And I can't find the Dol Amroth special rule anywhere. Is that in the main rule book? What is the Morgul knights special rule?

I've found the KoDA special rule. If the Morgul Knights are one more point that these guys, how many points are KoDA? And what is Morgul knight special rule?

Ok so I have found stats for Morgul Knights on Gameworkshop site. Sorry for all the hassle. Just need to know how many points a morgul knight is worth now! :)

Morgul Knights cost twice as much as a Uruk-hai with a shield. Black Numenoreans cost as much as an Uruk Scout with a shield.

And are scary. Like trolls are scary. And Balrogs are scary. And ringwraiths are scary. And Gildor is scary. And... etc, etc, etc...

And don't have the Knight of Dol Amroth special rule, but are scary instead. Though why, I don't honestly know.

So that means BN cost 9 pts and MK cost 20? Wow, considering a MK is just a BN on horse with a lance, that makes a lot to pay for those extra things. 11 pts for horse and lance for a non-hero!

Morgul Knights are easdily worth 20pts each if played well, try for yourself.

Considering that KoDA pay only 10 pts for the same upgrades, it is really wierd, but still definitely worth it. I was being so vague cause I didn't want to give any actual stats out.

Yes, Morgul Knights can, if played right, cause 'havoc and loose the dogs of war' upon any shield wall, charging head-on, excepting only Knights of DA (pikes even the fight too much), any elven wall, and, well, even dwarves are hard pressed for survival when losing to the lance-packing black numenorean. They eat Warriors of MT and Rohan for breakfast, and the individual guys that get caught by them are rapidly flattened.

Also great for anti-cavalry as most horsemen balk at the thought of contesting the Morgul Knights. Terror makes a great anti-charge weapon and if the enemy cavalry doesn't charge, they're as good as dead.

don't use horses but models are awesome, normal hero pays 10 or 20 just for comparison purposes.

Heroes horse 10pts, armoured horse 15pts
Warriors and cheap heroes horse 6pts, armoured horse 9pts

Usually anyway.

so morgul knights are ridicoulsly expensive. almost 1 mk for 2 haradrim raiders them bieng 22; are they really worth it? 20 points 5 for a mordor troll who'll eat them alive!
