I recently took my new Angmar army to the field to be tested. The result was quite disastrous im afraid to say
The army as it stands:

Witch King of Angmar w/ 3M 15W 3F........101pts

2 Barrow Wights................................100pts

Orc Captain w/ shield.........................45pts

Cave Troll.......................................80pts
Orcs..(8 orcs w/ shield.........................174pts
8 orcsw/spears
4 orcs w/ bows
4 orcs w/ t-h-w
1 orc with banner)
Total..........................................500pts
The witch king proved to be very effective taking out most of my opponents heros, but im sure i could put him to more use in my next games. The barrow wights were terrible, the first being charged and killed by the Dragon Knight in the first turn , the second shortly after. I blame this on myself for handling them poorly but they werent worth their points definatley.

I want to expand this army to 750pts by adding the Watcher. Is this advisable? and please any suggestions on either the current list or new additions :)

Remove one Barrow Wight and increase the witch king to 150 Base, I'm not sure on the Watcher myself (not tactically I just haven't seen it in action).

I think your wasting way too many points on luxuries such as the barrow wights and troll. I'd drop all 3 in favor of more and better infantry. At 500 points my rohan force could outnumber you with calvery which is a very bad thing to face with only 4 archers.

Would the watcher be good? To your current list, he would only make it even more difficult for you. If you dropped the witch king for a capitain or other hero and troops, as well as do what I mentioned above and used the watcher as your leader, that would probably be more successful.

The WK only costs 100 pts in this example. Only cheap heros (like Eowyn or RotN) cost pts that aren't multiples of 5, and that's if they have a horse.

No, because if that was the case, his point total would end up at 499.

Drop the watcher and take the witch king or a ring wraith with a few orcs

Remove the individual points breakdown, against forum rules 8) I personally like the watcher but in warbands at 750pts you may struggle to bring numbers to bear. I would take the dwimmerlaik over the witching. Also, the watcher cannot be your leader as he is an independent hero.

Southy, I thought we were allowed to have the points for a warband, just not for each model in it?

Anyway, if you want to use the Watcher then you might be better off doing Goblins with an allied Nazgul maybe. It's much more themed, anyway.

LordElrond has lived far too long to worry about the age of the threads of mortal posters.

He is our real life necromancer!

It's become a bit of a forum game for me just seeing which threads he brings back to life, before being mildly entertained every time he gets a genuine response followed by someone pointing out that it's well out of date! :-D
