Post subject:  700pt Undying Haradrim. (newbie)
Bit of an unusual combo, but got the Undying model ages ago and really liked his background and his rules so want to use him, apart from that got some haradrim kicking around so seeing what i can do. Now being a complete novice only played 1 game so far so this list could be a load of rubbish for all i know.

Warband 1:
The Undying on armoured horse -
12 Black Numenorians -

Warband 2:
Dalamyr -
12 Harad warriors, with a banner and spears -

Warband 2:
Haradrim chieften with bow -
12 Harad warriors of Karna with Bows -

Warband 3:
Castellan of Dol Guldur with Morgal Blade -

Warband 4:
Castellan of Dol Guldur with Morgal Blade -

Total = 699pts

alternative list being:

Warband 1:
The Undying on foot

Warband 2:
Dalamyr -
9 watchers of Kharna

Warband 3:
Haradrim chieften
12 Harad warriors, with a banner and spears -

Warband 4:
Haradrim chieften with bow -
12 Harad warriors of Karna with Bows -

Castellans aren't competitive. And the Warriors of Karna upgrade isn't worth two points. Otherwise, it's not too bad. ;)

Both lists are pretty good, it's pick and choose between the Black Numenoreans or Watcher of Karna. Both are very good for their points.

Your about right for numbers and bows...erm...can't really think of much else to say, unless you feel like changing the Black Numenoreans into Morgul Knights, because the Undyings a bit lonely being the only one on a horse, and a bit vunerable to being shot to pieces...mind you a theortical 10+ Fate points means he should be okay. :)

Edit: Got Undying mixed up with The Tainted. :P

cheers for the response guys, glad to know the majority of the list is fine, thinking I prefer the second list as stick with a more Karna themed list, and have the undying on foot.

The Castellans where in simply because A) I liked the look of them and B) their will of the necromancer rule mirrored that of the undying do figured would make apt "bodyguards" so to speak - could easily swap them out for a hasharin for the same points but then not trying to be terribly competative only reasoning to play LoTR for a bit of fun so might give em a swirl and see if I can get some use out of them.

Might well drop the Warriors of Karna upgrade and save me 24pts that can be used elsewhere ... (not sure on what though) possibly another banner? or some spectres ? or just some more watchers.
