One day I want to make an army consisting of treebeard and 12 ents... No idea how many points that is or how much it would cost in cash though. |

I promise. I'll come back to your thread Sid,a s there are quite a few 'dream armies' that are just for fun, and I wouldn't actually use, but it's be rather time-consuming. |

Before I do, can I ask if I can put a WotR army, or is it only for SBG armies? |

do either |

Okay, the reason I ask is because 3,000pts of SBG isn't a 'dream army' for me, i could go over 10,000 if I combined all my evil models. Even 3,000pts WotR isn't too far either, though I still have less than half as much as Dorthonion, and approx half of Leonardis. So here is my dream list. A WotR Pellenor Fields Evil Army. Battlehosts; Gorgoroth Orc Horde (18 companies) Captain, Taskmaster The Black Legion: 1 Mordor Troll Chieftain 6 Mordor Trolls 6 x Morannon Orc Warband (4 coys each) shields Mumak War Herd: 6 War Mumakil of Harad Epic Heroes; Gothmog Kardush The Mouth of Sauron (what if) Suladan Amdur Dalamyr (what if) Queen Beruthiel (ditto) Legendary Formations; 9 Winged Nazgul (yes all of them) Abrakhan Guard (4 coys) Common Formations; 2 x Mordor Orc Warband (9 coys each) 2-handers 4 x Mordor Orc Warband (3 coys each) bows Morannon Orc Warbnad (6 coys) w/ shields, Cptn, Bnnr 4 x Mordor Uruk-hai Warband (5 coys each) 2-handers 4 x Warg Rider Warband (3 coys each) shields 2 x Orc Tracker Warband (3 coys each) Easterling Cohort (6 coys) pikes, Dragon Knight 4 x Easterling Cohort (4 coys each) pikes, DK 2 x Easterling Kataphrakt Cohort (6 coys each) DK 2 x Khandish Mercenary Warband (6 coy each) 2-handers 3 x Khandish Merc Raiders (3 coys each) Haradrim Warband (9 coys), Hasharin 3 x Haradrim Warband (3 coys each) bows 3 x Haradrim Raider Warband (3 coys each) Haradrim Raider Warband (6 coys) Serpent Riders (6 coys) Banner, Hornblower Rare Formations; 3 Mordor Troll Chieftains 9 Mordor Trolls War Catapult Battery (3 coys) 2 x Seige Bow Battery (3 coys each) 2 x Black Numenorean Regiment (4 coys each) 4 x Morgul Knight Regiment (3 coys each) Khandish King in Chariot 4 Khandish Charioteers Mahud Warband (6 coys) blowpipes 2 x Mahud Raider Warband (3 coys each) 3 x Half Troll Warband (3 coys each) 2-handers 2 x Corsair Arbalesters (4 coys each) Captain Watcher Warband (3 coys) bows This come to 17,300pts Consisting of 104 formations, 317 companies (inc. Monsters) and 1,892 models excluding Epic Heroes. |

I think my dream army would be 300 foot soldiers and 300 Galadhrim elves to have an army equal to what was at helm's deep. Heroes would Be: Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Theoden, Gamling with Banner, Eowyn and Haldir ~ Brian |

Technically Eowyn wasn't there either by that logic. |

If I could do this, I'd go with the models I like, not just the best force, sooo... here it goes: Lots of Lorien bowmen (the metal ones) Lots of Galahdrim Swordsmen (metal ones) Lots of Galahdrim bow dudes (metal ones) Unarmoured Haldir Wood Elf sentenials RotK Legolas Legolas on horse Breaking of the Fellowship Aragorn Aragorn on horse Escape from Orthanc Gandalf Gandalf the grey on horse Lots of Rangers of the North and Dunadan (they need to make mounted ones ) Elladan and Elhrohir (armoured) Elladan and Elhrohir on horses And for Evil... Escape from Orthanc Saruman lots of Uruk Hai scouts (metal) Lurtz Lots of berserkers Ugluk Isengaurd trolls (metal) Lots of Warg riders (metal) aannnddd I think that's about it |

I have a 6000-points per side game coming up and am supplying half of the evil force. One of my Warbands comprises Burduhr and twelve Cave Trolls. It will probably fail in an epic manner but that's how legends are made! |

I would go with a Moria army led by the balrog and using like 10 dwellers in the dark as captains with 300 gobs and allied forces with spiders and bats and tons of trolls |
