Hey,
I was wandering if this all-elven heroes list is OK... and especially I was wandering if this list can win other armies with same pt. value... I never played with an all hero army before :)

- Gil Galad - 140

- Elrond - 170

- Glorfindel - 130

- Elven captain - 65

And I also have a regular elf warrior with a banner.

So what do you think?

Typically, all hero armies try to load up on horses. It's an extra attack, two chances to wound, and with might aplenty they can keep charging turn after turn. Even more importantly it lets you get your heroes where they need to be quickly.

Someone with S4 and 3 attacks is likely to kill 1 or 2 warriors a turn, so you're big bad three aren't likely to kill more than 6 guys a turn. They'll all be outnumbered around ten to one, so a bad round and they have to blow all their might to survive, two and they die.

Still, they may do fine in To the Death and they will love Lords of Battle. Domination, Hold Ground, Reconnoiter, & the High Ground will be almost instant losses though.

The thing to remember is that scenarios aren't won by wiping out the enemy before you get wiped out, they all have special victory conditions which a teeny tiny army won't be able to meet.

It should be fun to try out such an extreme army and get a feel for what heroes can and can't do, but long term its going to have a very hard time.

Not that I have any experience with this :dmf: but I'd replace either Glorfindel or Gil-Galad with the Twins. The Twins are probably twice as effective against troops (twice the attacks, twice the wounds), and you still have either Glorfindel or Gil-Galad to deal with higher fight models.

And yes, all mounted, buffed armour, etc. Glorfindel's armour is especially good if you're facing magic.
