Elrond 12 high elf warriors with elven blades Gil Galad 12 high elf warriors with elven blades High elf captain 12 high elf warriors with elf bows Elladan and Elrohir 4 high elf warriors with elven blades 3 high elf warriors with elf bows Glorfindel with armour of Gondolin+ horse Legolas 3 galadhrim knights with shields 1 galadhrim knight with banner and shield 2 galadhrim knights with elf bows Haldir 4 galadhrim warriors with shields 4 galadhrim warriors with spears 4 galadhrim warriors with elf bows 1478 pts Thoughts? Also, what do I do with the remaining 22 pts? I can't use any more warriors as all i have left are archers and that would bring me over the bow limit. I have Gildor and some captains, including archer captains. I have to work with the models I've got, as the game will be tomorrow morning. Take thi into account, but I also want to know what to buy next. Sentinels? I am going to convert loads of my archers into spearmen and swordsmen to make my army more flexible Thanks LordElrond |

Not very thematic, IMHO, since Gil-galad died before Legolas or the Twins were born. Practically, I think you're short on warriors and a few optimizers: - Legolas doesn't have a horse, yet he's leading knights...he needs to be able to help them buffer the whims of priority. - Too many blades, not enough spears. But if those are the models you have then there's not much else you can do, except maybe play smaller games to give yourself the flexibility. 1500 points is a lot, and can make for a very long game. Sentinels are nice, and since you get three in a blister it's useful at a large range of point levels. But I think you mainly need spears, either galadhrim or (preferably imho), wood elves. |

Yes I was thinking about that when I was playing today. Natures wrath is really useful against riders Rohan I managed to flatten one uruk phalanx with glorfindel single handedly and the knights took out two more. The bladesmen and archers helped too, getting into the phalanxes through holes I had shot to stop the phalanxes from having 3 attacks. If you're a bit confused, we play 3 way battles Elves vs Rohan vs Isengard, and the game normally finishes in that order points wise |
