Hi guys, I was wondering if armoured celeborn is any good for his points cost?

I imagine he is, as his stats are rather like Glorfindel's, only he is 10pts more than armoured Glorfindel and has magic. So, theoretically, he should be better than him?

Am I correct in saying this?

Is this even possible?

Thanks, LordElrond

I've never seen one in real life but I think the model is fantastic. In terms of in game, I don't have the new Free People's book (so this may all be wrong), but if he gets a free will point it goes really well with his combat ability. Even if not, he can resist Transfix easily.
If only there was a mounted model, he'd be brilliant leading a cavalry charge with Aura of Dismay as you could pick your targets. :)

He doesn't have free will. He does alright when I use him. Takes up a lot of points in a elf army though. The model is fantastic though.

I have a Galadhrim army and to be honest have never even considered using him, but to be honest if i was to fight regular 750 points battles then i may have to purchase one as this guy looks like he can earn his points back in a hurry.

And quite a bit cheaper.

He is most relatable to Glorfindel, but replace magic resistance with the ability to cast magic and a horse with a shield essentially. With two galadhrim guard baking him up or by himself he is a great mauler that can provide limited magic support.
