Hi guys
Please critique my 1000Pt army for upcoming battles....
Advice more than welcome.
Strider 200
13 Rangers (6spears) 110

Halbarad (ban Evenstar) 125
6 Rangers of Arnor 48
6 Warriors of Arnor 48

Forlong 60
6 Axemen 54

Angbor 55
6 Clansmen 48

5 x ROTN 125
873

Im left with 127 to bulk up my numbers this is where I could do with some ideas......

Hey buddy!

Probably just a typo, but Aragorn (strider) warband is meant to be 12 rangers yes?

Maybe give all your rangers spears so they can all support when thrown into the fight. A way to spend a few points!

Maybe max out a Halbarad's warband with Rangers of Arnor, all with spear and then have a third warband, led by Malbeth (lot's on the forum rate him) with 12 warriors of arnor.

So you can use all 24 bows, go for 6 rangers of the north (some more points spent)

...And then go halves on the new plastic box of eagles with me (so we get one each) and chuck that in there ;)

Sadly (for your wallet) probably the most cost effective thing to start with would be to buff out Forlong and Angbor's warbands so they each lead 12 warriors. Once you've done this i doubt you'll have alot left to play with, you might have enough points left to upgrade someone into Imrahil/The twins, which'd be nice.

You can also consider Malbeth the Seer. His Foresight rule is will be viable to your, generally, low defense troops.
