do they get 2 attacks ? 1 from the rider and 1 from the warg or doesn't the warg get a attack? just makes sense to me if they do (eg warg rider charge's a goblin he gets 1 attack and the warg gets 1 so its a 2 on 1 dice roll)

How cavalry works is that you pick and mix the better statistics to form their statline. I.e: You choose to use the wargs strength 4 over the orcs strength 3, but since they both have 1 attack, the model will only ever have 1 attack, you don't combine the two.

When the model charges it will get an extra attack for being a cha5rgin cavalry model though :)

like SuicidalMarsbar have told to you

They have 1 Attack and when they charge an infantry model they gain 1 extra attack and the knock down bonus(like each other cavarly model)

hmm that sorta makes them slightly less useful then if they are unable to do what i asked : / ( i all rdy know about the extra attack on charge with cav and so on ) might as well just take wild wargs and a just normal orc scouts

That's an option but it always boils down to how you are using them in the rest of your force and your play style.

Never underestimate the effectiveness of Cav on a charge. With the Warg's strength and the benefits of Extra Attach / Knock Down an old-school Warg Rider with Shield can be pretty effective. With the new -1 shoot issue I wouldn't give Warg Riders a bow any more in almost any situation, and their Throwing Spears are barely better of an option. At least you can keep your shield and you probably would only use the TS when you're comitted to a charge anyway.

Cav are almost always harder to get their point values out of. The Wild Warg does not get any of the Cav benefits. Wild Wargs are cheap and potent "infantry" options on their own.

Wild Wargs are NOT cavalry models btw, just fast moving infantry, no extra attack on the charge etc etc. Wargt riders are better.

This.

Also, Warg Riders are much better value than HOoFW which have benefits, but aren't as well valued.

All cavalry, well almost all, works the same way. One must learn how to use cavalry, not complain how underpowered they are.
