So I'm thinking between 2 lists for 500pts either:

So I'm thinking between 2 lists for 500pts either:
Gil galad with sheild
12 High elf warriors, 1 king's guard with banner, 2 with elven blade, 5 with shields and spears, 4 with elven bows

Isildur
12 Numenorians:4 with sheilds, 4 with shields and spears, 4 with bows
total 500pts May swap the banner for a Ranger of the north.
then there is this list:
Isildur
12 Numenorians:4 with bows, 2 with spears and shields, 6 with shields

Erestor (or a captain with shield)
12 High elf warriors: 4 with elven bows, 3 with spears and shields, 5 with elven blades

Captain of Numenor with shield
5 Numenorian warriors:5 with shields
total:500pts
The second does seem good due to the numbers, but doesn't have anyone with a fight higher then 6, nor much Defence 6.

Remove the points values 8)

The second list looks better. Isildur and erestor are a nice combo for killing. I would drop the numenor bowmen or give them spears aswell so they can be in the second rank and still support while firing.
Also, try and get spearmen for every shield warrior. This is neither a shield wall not skirmish force so will struggle against dedicated shield walls.

I know, but it's just trying to get the balance between numbers and spears I guess, so I oculd drop the bowmen from the the demi warband, either spend all the points on spears or give the captain heavy armour and 3 warriors spears.

Second list is way better. Regarding list one, i don't think a banner at 500pts is a gr8 idea.

I'm leaning towards this now:
Isildur
12 Warriors of Numenror: 4 with spear and shield, 4 with bow, 4 with shields

Erestor
12 High elf warriors:4 with elven bow, 4 with shield and spear, 4 with elven blade

Captain of Numenor with shield and heavy armour
4 warriors of Numenor with shields
Part of me is tempted to drop Isildur to then try and somehow fit in Gilgalad, but that would then result in there not being a hero with high courage for stand fasts if Gilgalad falls, curious about trying to fit Elendil possibly instead but not sure how it would be done.

My advice: Give the captain a bow and put 5 archers in his warband, then give Isiuldur 11 warriors.

If I was to do that I'd be tempted to just drop the captains heavy armour as well as his shield and a few spears to have Isildur with 12 and the captain with 5 bowmen. The problem with that is that D4 is squishy, and could would increase the danger in random deployment a lot more for an already at risk warband.

So I posted this on the discussion about Rivendell knights, but I am thinking it could be a good alternative to the list with Isildur, though I still lean to that.

Rivendell knight captain with shield
4 Rivendell knights with shields

Captain of Numenor with heavy armour and shield
12 Warriors of Numenor:6 with shields, 6 with shields and spears

Captain of Numenor with heavy armour and shield
12 warriors of Numenor:8 with bows, 4 with shields and spears.
Not entirely sure on it, as with the Isildur lead list I have a high courage model leading the Numenorians, plus whilst having the same numbers, it has more elves and Isildur, Erestor/high elf captain and Numenorian captain rather then just generic heroes.
