i was looking at the new rules for Gollum when is saw his 'the precious' rule, however it reminded unclear what rules he followed for the ring, so what rules of the ring does he follow? and does he follow biblo's rule of 'It has not yet awakened'? at a loss and i want to know how to effectively use him in my army.

(to the Ringwraiths, i didn't know where to post this so feel free to move it to the right place)

so when ever gollum puts on the ring, he can be controlled by either player? and he dies if he is the last one alive on the evil team?

When gollum puts on the ring/ wants to move with the ring on, roll a D6. On a 1 or 2, the evil player gets to control him for that turn. They may charge him into a fight or even attempt to make him take the ring off. On a 3+ the good players gets to control him for that turn.
And yes, that is correct. It is incredibly hard for the evil player to control gollum while he has the ring on.
Nothing to say otherwise in the FAQ. Might be a wording error on GW's part but until they change it, that is the way he works.

And yes, if gollum has the ring on and is the last model alive, he flees as per the my precious rule.

So if Isildur put the ring on then he'd be easier to control? Or would the terminology change so the opposition controls him on a 3+?

*edit I've just re-read the rules section and it says that on a 3+ the good side moves the ringbearer "as usual" this suggests they are talking about a good model being the ringbearer therefore for Gollum I would suggest that the text would invert and on 3,4,5,6 the evil player moves gollum as usual. Just my two cents.
