Hope to go to a low point (350) tournament but with it being much earlier than I originally thought , need to go with what we have painted . 1 Mordor force named ringwraith or warleader shagrat and two orc captains 3 war bands of mordor orcs 2 Gondor force faramir /or Boromir 2 war bands 1 of warriors of minas Tirith 1 of rangers 350 points of thorins company These are very basic lists and all will need some painting re leaders , but any advice ? |

I'd go with mordor, as you'll have one really good hero and decent numbers too. The only thing I whether to go for Shagrat or a wraith. Shagrat has more combat prowess, and so might be a safe choice, but if you want to use a wraith not on a fell beast, then the Witch-King will be your best bet, as long as you give him the crown of morgul. Add to that the fact that he can have 3m and 3f and will have 3as, s4, f5 and d8, that's a solid model. But it would take either extensive play testing or someone on here who has used this type of list before to know how many will you would need in a 350 point game probably. I'd guess about 15 if you want to cast spells and get into combat (which you do). But then the problem is that he costs so many points. For a model with one wound… Sounds a bit risky. Taking him would mean that you'd only be able to have 2 warband of orcs too. Shame. But then this is why 350pts is so hard to write a list for. Hopefully see you at the tournament. LordElrond |

Yes that the plan but sorting out a list to finish painting is just the start This for my son, who hopefully will be playing I had hoped this would of been later in the year, so we could finish his Isengard army , just there is too much to get done. For the mordor list just the two captains really. What about a shaman, instead of one of the captains ? Or mordor uruk hai to thicken the bands ? |

i would go for mordor as well but with the the knight of umbra with armored horse or khamul armored horse they would be very good in a low point army since they can restore there will points or not lose any in fights in some way but again there is a proplem with 1 wound. |
