Hi everybody! I want to build a competitive 450 Pts. army, which I could expand to a 650 Pts. army by adding Beorn. Please help me by creating this list. My army should be an elven army, an army of thror or a White council army. Here are some thoughts I had: List 1: -Warband 1: Bombur -Warband 2: Thorin Oakenshield with The Oakenshield; Orcrist; 6 Warrior of Erebor with Spear; Shield; 6 Warrior of Erebor with Shield; -Warband 3: Balin ; 3 Warrior of Erebor with Spear; Shield; 6 Warrior of Erebor with Shield; 3 Warrior of Erebor with Spear; -Warband 4: Alfrid Total: 450 Pts. List 2: Warband 1 Gandalf the Grey Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood Warband 2 Alfrid Total: 445 Pts. I dont know how to make a competitive elven army. |

List one is very solid. Bombur and Alfrid is a little bit cheesy but ok in this army. I'd try it and look how it works. I think the second list is a bit more than 450 points And with Elfs I'd field Galadriel, Lady of Light, Thranduil, Rumil and about 20 Woodelves. |

However, I don't like to play the old Legolas/Thranduil instead of the BOFA. Apart from that, any heroes are okay. Frêrin wrote: List one is very solid. I want to have a solid list before I buy the models. Unfortunately, I don't know anybody who could lend me this army. I don't think the second list will work. It is not that difficult to kill Alfrid and Gandalf and with only 2 models left it will be hard to win any scenario. |

Okay, I was also afraid of that. However, can you suggest a 450 Pts. White council army? Or is all hero to weak at less point games? |

All hero is totally fine. The problem will be time. If there is no time limit, I'd field Thorin, King under the Mountain Thranduil, King of the Woodlandrealm Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood Bilbo (with staff) Not really white Coucil, but more themed than Legolas in a white Coucil army. I played against Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood Tauril, Exilant Gwaihir Eagle Alfrid And got destroyed. Sorry no white Coucile too but the problem is there are not that much fighter except Thranduil. Maybe Thranduil, KoW Glorfindel armour of Gondolin and horse Gwaihir Alfrid But with Alfrid it is very cheesy |

I like list 3 and 1. But what do you mean with the time limit? Why should this be a problem? I don't know how I should play an all hero army, any tips? Especially list 1 is quite cheap. However, I don't know how to use Bilbo. Which army do you think is the best: List 1,3 or my dwarf army. With an all hero army, there are a lot of scenarios, which are very difficult to win. For example domination (I hope that's the English name for the second scenario from the rule book). The best thing would be a competitive normal army, for which I only had to buy one or two heroes for converting it into an competitive all hero army. |

Hi, what do you think about this list: Saruman the Wise Glorfindel, Lord of the West with Armour of Gondolin; Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm with Horse; Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood Total: 450 Pts. This list could also be not bad: -Warband 1: Thorin Oakenshield; 6 Warrior of Erebor with Spear; Shield; 6 Warrior of Erebor with Shield -Warband 2: Legolas with Armour; 10 Mirkwood Ranger Total: 449 Pts. |

Oh nooo, not again! I should stop using an excel document or try not to post a list without checking it. However, can you please tell me how to use an all hero army, especially Bilbo? Thank you |
