Hi everybody, I just watched the Harad video from DCHL and thought that I could expand my Harad army. These are the miniatures that I already have: - 24 Haradrim warriors - 24 Crosairs of Umbar - 1 Hasharin - Suladan foot and mounted - Dalamyr - 6 Crosair Crossbows - 1 Mumak (bought it on eBay, so I do not have the crew) I think one problem is that I do not have any unnamed heros. I think that some cavlary would be needed. How can I make a cheap, but also competitive, 450 or 500 Pts army? Thank you for your help. |

You need Watchers of Karna and Reavers, converted from your Corsairs. I would suggest you go for the Golden King of Abrakhan, rather then unnamed heroes. But, you will need an Haradrim Chieftain for your Mumak. |

Obvious 500 point choice with what you have: Suladan, Dalmayr, Chieften with 18 Corsair Shield, 17 Harad spears. If you don't mind being disliked, convert to Reavers: Suladan Mounted, two Chieftens, 18 Reavers, 18 Harad Spears. Chieftens are easy to convert. Bows are nice, but quickly useless. Cavalry is less effective than ever, vunerable to Monster Hurls...but, as always, deadly in the hands of the experienced player. Crossbows: love the models...but have to be positioned carefully so they can still be used after shield walls meet. Not worth it (IMHO) in low point armies like this. Harad is so versitle: enjoy! |

Hi Thank you for your help. The problem is that I don't have 18 Haradrim with spear or 18 Crosairs with shield. I only have one 24 box of each of them (which means 8bow, 8spear,8 shield/ 12 bow, 12 spear) |

Yes: conversions are nearly always needed. Try this: http://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/products.asp?cat=407 Equip your archers with spears --just glue one on the back--because you will usually get only one round to shoot, but you'll use spear support the whole game. |

I'm currently converting my Corsairs to have xbows, probs gonna go for a full warband, I would rather hit with S4 from afar than S3 up close |
