Hello all so as the holidays are about to come to a close, I know of a sizable gift certificate to gw coming my way, and wanted to inquire on the great community some ideas. A few things I was tossing around in my head; - Moria ( lots of cool stuff going for them, I love prowlers and marauders) - Mirkwood ( I love most things elves, and have a sizable free people's variety) Something else ????! ( as a disclaimer I currently have very sizable armies for fiefdoms, wood elves, harad, mordor, the shire, Arnor) So I'm open to any and all thoughts and ideas, and appreciate any thought out responses to help in my endeavor. Thanks all ! |

Maybe you could build up a Gondor force to go along with your Fiefdoms and Arnor armies. Depending on how large, you could craft a huge and diverse army. From the elite Guards of the Fountain and Citadel, to the skirmishing Rangers, and hard-hitting Avenger and Battlecry war-machines, I think it would be pretty awesome. Out of the two you mentioned, I'd choose Mirkwood, using a combo of maybe old and new models to build a really cool force. |

Hey thanks for the input, I've considered Gondor as the natural fit for arnor and fiefs and I even have a Beregond, Denethor, Damrod, and Faramir of Ithlien sitting at home, but alas my friend also has the sizable Gondor army and don't want to be too samey. And on the Mirkwood, those heroes are just blenders, which I think would be nice to have |

Yeah, Moria is actually pretty cool, but Mirkwood just seems beast. |

Whoops forgot to mention I have a sizable Durin's Folk army, though sadly I rarely use them, my friends play the army far more than me, though as far as Heroes go they have some of the best imo. |

If you have the money and you think you'll enjoy painting them just buy the new elves man. That's what you really want so just stop waffling and go do it. |

I appreciate the outpouring of feedback! I'm thinking maybe I'll do the mid ground and just do Mirkwood and Moria (I got a marauder for cheap and now want to use it!) |

I like both of those two armies, though Moria is, in my opinion, stronger (those marauders and blackshields) and also more diverse and it's less likely that you'll eventually get bored with it. |
