Hi folks,

This is not intended to be the most competitive list but it will definitely look pretty on the battlefield!

Warband 1:
Celeborn with elven blade, heavy armor, and shield
3 Guard of the Galadhrim Court
3 Galadhrim warriors with elven blades
3 Galadhrim warriors with elf bows and elven blades
1 Galadhrim warrior with shield and banner

Warband 2:
Haldir with elf bow, armor, and elven cloak
3 Guard of the Galadhrim Court
3 Galadhrim warriors with elven blades
3 Galadhrim warriors with elf bows and elven blades
1 Galadhrim warrior with shield and banner

500 pts exactly, 22 models

I considered including Rumil instead of Haldir, but I like the 2 shots per turn Haldir grants over his brother's parry rule. Celeborn is probably over priced for what he brings to the table, but feels like the natural leader for this little force.

What do folks think? Will I be trashed on the table?

Regards!

I do not think you will get mangled to bad out of the gate. Depending on how you use your troops you might find a deal of success against things with lower fight and higher armor. I like the inclusion of the blades on the bowmen over spear so that you can play with a wider line and leave the supporting to the Court Guard. Still, integrating the line will slow your force down if you want to take advantage of the shooting and you don't really have the armor to take a lot of fire for other sources. That is a bit risky in my opinion but I do not see a better alternative. With Haldir v. Rumil it real does depend on whether you value the shooting over the close combat ability. I think that if you keep Haldir behind your line to take advantage of the cloak option you will find that his might will come in handy for moves in the mid game. You will have a lot riding on Celeborn for holding the front if there are monsters or heroes but he should be alright with the Court Guard in tow. The double banners might be a little much but if you spread your line out right you will be able to cover all your troops with no significant overlap.
