Hi all,

I'm interested in trading but I'm in the US and don't want to spend ridiculous amounts on shipping. In general, how much are shipping costs from the US to the UK (I looked online, but couldn't really find anything). Also, are people in Europe less likely to trade with those in the US due to shipping?

One final thing--how does everyone package their minis when they send them?

Edit: I wasn't sure where to post this, if it should go in the Off Topic section feel free to move it.

Thanks!

It's not horrendous amounts, but it depends upon where to and from, how much the item weighs, the size of it, the speed of delivery that you want, etc.

I'm not less likely to, but occassionally people may be - however, there are plenty of people in the US too, so shouldn't need to worry and you can always limit it to US only trades.

Usually in wrapped in paper towels inside a jiffy bag.

Yes, as HB said. I managed to get a package of 3 metal easterlings and 7 plastic ones all firmly wrapped up in bubble wrap and in a jiffy bag to canada for >£2 and it still arrived within 2 weeks. Though normally with such far trades, you'll probably want to get as large a trade as possible to get your money's worth for postage.
