I pinched the term "Spodding" from a member here "Spod of the Rings" since it so perfectly sums up what we do - play with toy soldiers.

Anyway, I have started my own blog and it can be found here:

http://spodding.tabletopwargaming.com/

It's fairly basic at the moment, as these things usually are at the start, but I intend uploading some new features and a pretty theme to make it look a bit less like a generic vnilla-flavoured Wordpress site.

Feel free to drop by.

Basic, but looking good so far dude.

The new game sounds weirdly entertaining.

Thanks lads. Feel free to leave a comment or two.

If TGN doesn't come back to life soon, I may ramp it up and turn it into a gaming news service.

Ah, what a pitty... now we have to share you!
Hehehe, looking great so far Alan!
And it will be damn great to see all your and Spod's work bundles close together on one site! I know you're both excellent artists in this hobby (you to Spod, I still remember your work for the Shire-theme somewhere in a forgotten tomb in the One-Ring dungeons... lol, and that was fantastic!!)! Excellent idea Alan! Keep it up, and good luck with this!!!

Good looking start Alan.

I've added a link to Spodding on my Blog. I'm looking forward to seeing your site grow as you have plenty of brilliant material to share.

Cheers,
Steve.

Thanks lads. I've installed (and tweaked) a theme for it which I really like - looks a lot better IMHO.

I will add your blog to my links Steve, thanks for doing the same. I can see this becoming quite addictive

I think you misunderstand - I just borrowed the name from Spod because it means "to play with toy soldiers."

Ah, got that now... thought you really meant with "sums up what we do", the "we" reffered to you and Spod... my mistake... been a long day.. heh... (means terribly boring with overload on coffee...)

Nice update mate 8) (to change the subject again)

Well, there are only so many things that I can physically do at once, but I never let that stop me from taking on new tasks. Anyone who knows me will vouch for the fact I always have at least 5 mid to large sized projects on the go at any one time (and rarely finish any of them).
