Little Odo's Miniature Wargaming Blog

No Lord of the Rings on there yet, but my project for the summer will start in June and consist of re/painting my Rohan collection.

I decided early last year to repaint a load of my old miniatures that have been lying around for several decades. As a result, I created this blog to map my progress.

My son has finished painting some LotR Elves. I have put them up on my blog (see link in previous post).

Bearing in mind he is only 10, I think he has done a great job.

My Rohan stuff will be started on the Solstice and hopefully completed by the Equinox. I'll post again when I actually have something else to show for my efforts. At the moment, the majority are still in boxes yet to be cut, cleaned and undercoated.

Major props to your son, ecspecially since he is only ten. He has a great talent which we can all appreciate. :)

Thanks Jamros - my son appreciates the praise.

He has finished his small elven army now - the rest are up on the blog.

Thanks. I am hoping to post some Roman auxiliaries soon and then start on my LotR Rohan army. I should be doing the basic prep work this weekend. I'll get them glued up and undercoated and try to photograph them all together to give an idea of how many I have to re/paint this summer. I'll have to purchase a load of Isengard or Easterling stuff to fight against them though! I will probably also get some WotR bases so I can use them in either game system.
