Something unusual - Thomarillion have released a diorama featuring two tree giants and a base representing a clearing in a forest. The links show finished versions of the diorama and the part the tree giants are made from. I am not sure if these are existing Thomarillion tree giants or new versions - trying to match up parts etc at present.

Here are the components:

Ans the finished version:

http://www.thomarillion.de/index.php?se ... e0aacfa822

I like the idea, and would be even more delighted if these are new versions of the tree giants as I would like to put together a decent sized army made from GW, UKFB and Thom models. Barooom!

Very nice, they would make a nice addition to an Ent force the psoes ould give great variation to what is a very static looking GW Ent, I second that I would like to see more from UKFB too.

The younger ent is absolutely stunning. that I must admit. Not too sure about the elder one, but I'm sure it could be converted quite easily to a standing position.

Now those are some really nice models!
I haven't been too impressed with Thomarillion's miniatures lately, but I think their Ents and scenery are just great!

Not bad at all.

I plan to release at least two more Tree Giant species early in the new year once my Burly Woodsman gets completed.

A little update from Thomarillion - the latest giants are available separately now -

And they are doing some graveyard bits and pieces - this one could be used in a Middle-earth type setting -
