I saw this over at TLA. The mats are highly detailed sculpted terrain. At $50, a little pricey, but the quality of the mat looks great. Good gaming size, too. They are made of a platex rubber. They also offer other terrian to go with the mats. It is a company out of New York, USA. Check this out this site! http://www.zuzzy.com/dr-tf-001_terra_fl ... g_mat.html |

Those mats look very interesting. I wonder how much "chipping" there would be if it was rolled and unrolled. I'd love to see someone get one of these and test it out |

The mats are 4 X 6 feet. They say they are going to come out with some other sizes, too. Good question about chipping/peeling when rolling. The company suggests thin washes of acrylic paint on the latex. Acrylics are very flexible...so it should work. I think I would be very careful with handling, anyway. I want to buy one, but finances will not allow at this time. Blast my infernal budget! |

A novel concept. I reckon that you would have to repaint sections of the mat repeatedly due to wear and tear, and it would also be best stored out of direct sunlight and away from extremes of heat and cold. |
