I hope you have got loads of money as it is a VERY expensive process. Sculpting needs to be done in a slightly different way to 'normal' metal minis too.

However, I wish you luck in your endeavours.

I wouldn't give up on it just yet. If you really want to cast your own miniatures, you may be able to do it yourself in metal. Advice on how to do this can be found here: http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/kb.php?mode=article&k=565.

The kit isn't too expensive, and if you are serious about sculpting it is something you will probably need eventually anyway. Just be sure to post pictures of your new miniatures when you are done!

Edit: Is there any particular reason you wanted them cast in plastic?
