Hello,

I would really like the Dunlending Warriors boxset (1 chieftain, 9 warriors) does anybody at all have one of these available? Or does anybody know of an independent retailer anywhere that may still have one in stock? There are currently none on ebay and I am permanently looking to see if one is added. If anyone can help I would be truly grateful. :)

The models are available separately but it would cost a bit more to get them in blister packs (£20 boxset or 3x £8.20 blisters). I only really need the warriors and I would have the chieftain as a spare to trade. In total I need 12 warriors to complete my 2 warbands (3 bowmen, 9 random) but just thought getting the boxset may help save a few pennies and finding a trade would be even better! I hate putting in large blister orders with GW because for the same price I'd always rather buy something monstrous like a Watcher/Cave Drake. If I have to then I will do, but I thought I'll see if anybody could help out first.

Thank you for the help DMS, I've emailed the company and if it works out cheaper then they're mine! :)

If you need more armoured Dunlendings (rather than the Angry Tramps), then a good substitute are the Gripping Beast plastic Saxons and Vikings. Have a look at these;

http://www.grippingbeast.com/shop.php?CatID=392

And you can swap some components between the 2 types to get more variety. Worth considering, especially as you can get them discounted from stores like Triplehelix and others. Even 1 box of plastics = 44 figures for about £16!

Thanks for that Dorthonion, it is quite mad to think £16 could get me 6 GW miniatures or 44 Gripping Beast. I have to question my loyalty to GW sometimes :roll: Those sprues definately look good for spare parts and weapons swaps aswell. Hmmm....
