Hey One Ringers,
I have been actively trying to track down a Forgeworld Weathertop for a long long time now and have been unsuccessful (to that end if you have one and wouldn't mind cash instead PM me!).
I recently emailed FW to ask if they will re-release the terrain piece. I was told that the piece is very expensive to make and there just isn't enough interest in it to justify producing more of them, and therefore another release is unlikely.
I am asking that if you would like one of these to email FW and tell them as much. Bear in mind the piece is expensive. The original price was 250 GBP, so given inflation and cost increases expect it to be at least that if not more.
I have no interest in this thread spiraling into a discussion of FW quality vs prices of the minis etc. It is strictly to say that if you want a FW Weathertop to email FW and tell them so that they understand that there is indeed interest out there and hopefully if enough people email them, it may convince them it will be worth their while to produce more pieces.
Thanks for reading!

FW ask a lot of money, but their products are high end. I realise most of what they make is out of my league, but that doesn't mean it's not worth it.

For alternatives, you can purchase the ziterdes watchtower ruin "Nalog", it is 36 euros and available on their site. It's made of cast extruded foam and very durable and light, great for travelling. Our game group uses some of their stuff.
I also made one from plaster using Hirst Arts molds, with the mold and the shipping and plaster, the ziterdes one is probably cheaper. You can make multiple other buildings if you buy the mold, however. Plaster does like to explode when dropped...
Good luck in your search.
