hi I'm very new to this game. wat i wanna know is the reason behind why some normal soldiers have high attacks and some only 1. like some gondor and elf guards have a crazily high number of attacks of 8 compared to a normal guy with 1. i just don't get it thanks. |

You're talking War of the Ring stats which is played with squads of 8 infantry. In the Strategy battle game you control individual units, most of whom only have 1 attack. So in short it's two different games |

ohh but for example i went to the war hammer website looking at the fountain court guards and it says 8 under A. so if i get the sourcebook for the kingdom of men it would just be 1 instead? |

Yes most of the profiles you see on the website are for WotR only. There are very few miniatures with more than 1 attack (except for heroes, captains and a very few normal warrior) |

The reason why it's 8 is because you always play with 8 in a company. 8 * 1 = 8. So the profile of one individual Fountain Guard (SBG) has A1 and a company of 8 Fountain Guard (WOTR) have A8. |
