Post subject:  Explaining Heroic Moves and might

Hi guys,

I did a bit of a search but I couldn't really find what I was looking for.

I know might can be used to affect dice rolls, but I'm not sure I fully understand the heroic moves.

I know there is "With Me!". As far as I understand this gives that model (and the others in range) a chance to move first even if they don't have priority (doesn't grant extra move, just priority).

I've also seen mentioned something called "Stand Fast!". I couldn't see anything in my rulebook for it though. Would anyone be able to take a minute to explain?

Are those the only two other uses of might aside from altering dice rolls?

Thanks!!!

Stand fast is NOT a Heroic action, and it does not use any Might. When your force is broken and models on your side must take a Courage Test or flee and count as a casualty, that is when Stand Fast is used. If a Hero passes his or her Courage Test, their Stand Fast means that all models within 6" of them automatically pass their courage test. (page 47 of Hobbit Rulebook)

Heroic move is one of several Heroic actions that do use Might points. If you have the rulebook, you will see that the Heroic actions are mentioned from page 57-59. There are Heroic Move, Heroic March, Heroic Shoot, Heroic Accuracy, Heroic Combat and Heroic Strike. Look them up on the pages I've just mentioned.
