Ok so I had a battle recently and was wondering if I did this correctly. The other guy was completely new, and Im pretty new to actual hobbit games not just practice. Thranduil used Natures wrath, and my guys fell down after charging. They went prone, fought etc. Next round he won priority and charged them again. At that point are they still prone? Then he used a heroic move, and they were still prone. So is that right for 3 combats they were supposed to be prone or at some point was I supposed to stand up. Actually, the funny thing was, about 6 of them or so were knocked down, and I believe in those 3 turns 2 only died with double strikes. Uruks FTW. |

if you get knocked down, do everything you can to get them standing up, call heroic move, if you get charged when you win a combat your guy stands back up but cannot strike back Do not forget it will take half your move to get back up, very important that. Being prone is a quick death. |

Being prone is a quick death. Yeah I do know that I had no heroes though within 6 inches because I left those guys there for a few round distraction and it worked fantasticallly. |

There are two ways a prone model can get back to its feet - either in the move phase at a cost of half its movement (it sounds like you didn't have this opportunity), or if it wins a fight, it gets up immediately. If neither of these happen, it will remain prone indefinitely. |

Always shield if you are knocked prone. Double your chances of winning the fight and standing. |
