I didn't know where to put this question so here it goes. I have the Heroes of the West Aragorn and was wondering if I could say he has an elven cloak on him even though the model isn't sculpted with one on him. The model came with the set that was used for Pelennor a Fields and in the movie he has one on him.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. I've never heard of anyone complaining about a hero having an elven cloak but the model not, I think it's just an accepted upgrade that doen't have to be WYSIWYG like armour. Legolas is the most constant offender, he almost always has an elven cloak but players often use versions of the model without.

Besides, surely if he was wearing an elven cloak you wouldn't be able to see it anyway... :-D

Thanks for clarifying that. I'll let my opponents know ahead of time as well. That is just weird though. That should be the model that has one since it is at Pelennor.

It all depends on who you're playing against. Like grant, i would say, "sure, go ahead." But deep down I would be sad, as I ensure my minis abide by WYSIWYG. However, I wouldnt think of you as any less of a person because if it. The gamer snob in me might, but he almost never surfaces ... Almost never ;)
