Post subject:  Army-Bonuses ?

Hello there :)

We are a quite small group who starts playing Lotr/Hobbit SBG.
Normally we are playing the "old" factions from Lotr but last week we had the opportunity to have a sneek peak in the book "there and back again" (should be the latest rule book ?!?!?!).
We noticed, that there are some Army-Bonuses if your army only consists of models from one army ... i think it was called appendix armies.

Are there some Army-Bonuses for "old" armies aswell?
For example Lothlorien, Gondor, Army of Durin (hope it is called so in english) and in which (rule)book are they written?

Best regards an thx :)

Hello and welcome to the forum. Army bonuses for all the armies were tested at the throne of skulls tournament last year. You can still find them online. But the thinking is that the new edition coming later in the year will have army list reworks and bonuses for every army.

Welcome!

As said, the 'pure army bonuses' were introduced for the Hobbit-era armies in There and Back Again, and will almost certainly appear in the new books for other factions as well. In the meantime, have a look here for the aforementioned document, it's under "Additional rules". https://warhammerworld.games-workshop.c ... -the-ring/ Note that the final versions may be quite different, as quite some time has passed and playtesting has been done since then. Still, it's worth having a look and trying them out in the meantime.

Also worth noting: There and Back Again is not the latest rulebook. The Unexpected Journey is still the most up to date rules manual (until the new one is released in August); There and Back Again is an expansion to the core rules with scenarios and profiles - no actual rules for the basic game are included in it.
