Error?

Hi today i got Legions of middle earth. I took a look at it. I saw ta rivendell that it can all ywith fiefdoms but at fiefdoms doesn't write rivendell. Who is the right one?

My gondor in flames book says that the Fiefdoms cant ally with Rivendell, but the army builder (I think its from thelonelyknight or something) says they can. Personally I think they cant.

GW's general standing on circumstances like this is to follow the sourcebook. Therefore Fiefdoms can't ally with Rivendell.
