On the WD article on the gw site i found this example army for sbg:

Legolas(C) 100
WE Captain(bw,throwing's) 75
10 WE(bw) 90
10 WE(eblades) 80
10 WE(WEspears) 80
3 Sentinels 75

Points:500 Models:35 Bows: 42.8571429%!!!

So what happened to the 33% max rule?! It's neither a scenario nor is anything else mentioned... And the list is on a official gw article.

The 33% rule also affects heros doesnt it?

No. Only 33% of Warriors can have bows, Heroes can have whatever they want. But this list is still over the limit because of the Sentinels having bows also.

That's the way we play it, but the rulebook says "No more than a third (33%) of each force's MODELS can be armed with bows."

Does it specifically say somewhere else that heroes are exempted? I hope so. I know that in LoME it specifically says "Warriors".

Its models in the rulebook and warriors in LoME which should take precedence as thats the latest publication. But as you say, the article is wrong somebody probably forgot that the Sentinals are bow armed Warriors.
