Guys, just want to clarify a point:
Example, Lurtz leads an Uruk formation, and charges a formation of Warriors of Minas Tirith led by Boromir.
Lurtz calls a Heroic Duel, and declares an Epic Strike. Boromir also calls Epic Strike.
Boromir kills Lurtz in the duel.
My question is, does Lurtz having called the Epic Strike, still allow his command company to use his Epic Strike fight value of 10 still through the combat phase, OR is the the fact that he has been slain, drop the uruk command company to their normal fight value?
Basically what I am asking is, is the Duel simultaneous with the combat phase, or before it? My confusion in part arises because casualties from the duel, contribute to the outcome of the combat.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers Scott

Epic Strike says that the Hero's own Fight is increased to 10 for the remainder of the phase, so if he isn't there, it won't affect others. Duel is done at the start of the phase, so that's before any combats take place (unless there is a Heroic Combat).

I may have found the answer:
p67, 2nd last paragraph "Any heroes that have survived the duel lend their Fight and Courage values to their companies as normal"
