Folks, a few questions on heroic move.

In a nutshell, the heroic move allows triple standard move, but

1. If a formation includes a drummer (or near one, like Mordor drummer troll), is the drummers bonus factored in as well?
eg. orcs move 6" with drummer = 7", so heroic move is 21".

2. Flyers with move 12", so if can call a heroic move, can then move 36".
I am presuming you cannot do a Heroic move - swoop attack (3 x 36"), that would just seem too much.

3. Would a heroic move be affected by close proximity of enemy troops at start of move?
eg orcs move 6", but half pace due to nearby enemy, so 3". So heroic move would triple 3 to 9". Or does the Heroic status of the move ignore the nearby enemy?

4. Are spellcasters in a formation that heroic moves, able to cast a spell at any point in this triple move?

1. yes, my gobs move 8 with +1 from the drum, making a heroic move a wooping 27"!!!
2. yes, this is one of the reasons why i love my dragon so much
3. yes, its really annoying.. (note, if you are 5" away from them you may as well move normally then at the double, you would move 3 (now out of range) then at the double moving 6 (thus adding up to 9, so you saved a might pt))
4. yes, in rare cases i might use a heroic move just to do this, but very rare

a question of mine for others. if i heroic move with durburz, can he call it then move out of the formation? or if a capt calls it, can durburz move out of the formation?

thanks for your clarifications.
In answer to your question.

I would say if Durburz calls a heroic move, he probably has to move with it.
But if a captain is going to call it, then durburz could move out first. You have the option to move epic heroes at point at which you "deal" with the formation in question in the move phase

I agree with anything except that you can make a swoop attack three times. A heroic move let you make your moves tree time but a swoop attacks isn't a move. It is stated clearly in the entry:

A winged nazgul may make a swoop attack instead of moving. The winged nazgul immediately moves at least 24" but no more than 36" in a straight line.

The heroic move box says: He and his formation triple their move distance for that move phase.

So they say that á swoop attacks isn't a move and that a heroic move triples the move distance.

Hope this helps.
