Wanted to make sure I am doing this right. There is basically two questions here. One is concerning process and the other concerns the rediculously hard-to-kill roll. When you roll on these tables do you take into account each roll's affect? For example, I do 3 hits on a Mamuk. I roll a 4, 5, and 6. The first roll is a 4 and does 1 wound to the beast, plus a crew The next roll is a 5 (+1 for the wound) making a 6 = one more wound to the beast, plus a crew Was the above a correct way of doing this? The next roll is a 6. In this case it says to rolls again and applies both results. This is where I am confused. Here is what I have been doing: The roll was a 6 (+2 for wounds) making 8 = two wounds on the beast, plus two crew. Then I get to roll another die because it was a natural six. I roll another 6 (+4 for wounds) makes 10 = three wounds on the beast and 3 crew. Final results: 7 wounds on the Mamk plus 7 crew Do I roll again for the other 6? Brian |

Brian You only reroll a natural 6, not a 2 with a +4, you'd have to roll another 6 to be able to reroll, even if it makes 10. You were right up until that point |

No he had it mostly right. He is saying that the actual numbers on the dice he rolled were 4 5 6 6 creating results 4 6 8 10 this is where he was wrong, the result of 10 only adds 2 wounds, not 3 like he said, resulting in wound counters accumulating 1 1 2 2 total = 6 wounds and to answer your questing, you keep rolling as long as you keep rolling natural "6"s, so in the above scenario you would roll again. It is entirely possible, though EXTREMELY unlikely, to kill an extremely/ridiculously hard to kill creature with a "single" roll by continually rolling "6"s (6 of them in a row, in fact) |
