The battle platform is treated as being in the way when the crew is shot at. My question is, does the Beast of Gorgoroth's battle platform have it's own statistics like that of the Mumakil's howdah? I have looked at the One Ring book and the new Mordor sourcebook many times and I am unable to find the answer. Thanks in advance for an official rule answer. |

i think that they count as part of the beast untill it is killed, they cannot be shot at untill the beast is killed. i could be wrong though, dont actually own the rulebook, but from what i can remember of the white dwarf it was in, they wernt techniqeuly models in play as far as wounds go, they could just shoot untill the beast is killed. |

Is the pronoun "they" from above referring to the crew? The crew can shoot and indeed be shot at while the beast is alive. My original question refers to whether the actual battle platform itself takes wound like the howdah and can be destroy. I do understand that the platform must be treated as "in the way" when shooting at the crew. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. |

Well as there are no more replies to my question and I cannot find further information about the battle platform, I will assume that the battle platform should be treated like a tree/wall in regards to "being in the way" situation. Please consider this subject closed. |

does it have a defence value? No. Therefore, as you have stated, it would count as a ITW test. Strange I know, but GW do that sometimes :/ |

The Howdah (you call a battle platform) counts as part of the Great Beast. |
