Page 50, top of column 2: "If a mounted warrior charges a warrior on foot then he receives two special bonuses..."

So flying models are not effected by either the extra attack or the charge bonus, in fact they cancel it.

Unless a flying model is classed as a cavalry or monstrous mount, then by default it counts as a foot model as opposed to a mounted model (it has no passenger). A flyer may reduce the effect of being charged depending on it's strength as per the rules. So, just because a model can fly, it does not immediately mean it is immune from the effects of a cavalry charge.

Hmmm, ...but the rules seem very specific about "on foot". Is there wording somewhere about flying models saying they "count as" a foot model?

There's nothing printed to say that flyers are one or the other, only that models that have a rider are cavalry and there are only 2 catagories of troops, foot or mounted, there is no 'flyer' class so they have to conform to either foot or cavalry.

so whith call winds i can knock to the ground a fell beast or a bat swarm for example cause my question was not targeting the rules about cavalry and knock to the ground but all about magic.

A'h, the second part of your question. All models get knocked to the ground by the spell unless it has rule that prevent it, like the Mumak.
