I saw in the new rulebook that Thorin's company could be upgraded with ponies. I seem to remember that ponies don't give cavalry combat bonuses (just movement speed), but I can't find that in the rules anywhere. Also, for characters like Dwalin, who have a 2-handed weapon, can those still be used on pony-back? Thanks. |

I thnk the rules for ponies have changed, they now count as regular cavalry unless excplicit;y stated otherwise. Two-handed weapons can be used whilst mounted as the rule make no mention of not being able to. |

Do they still have to make a courage test to charge? |

So the new Thorin and Dwalin on ponies are quite powerful then for fairly low points costs. Hmmm..... Thanks for the replies. |
