Does any 1 know if Saruman can still use the Palantir? I remember as once per game I think, he could cast a spell anywhere in the map without requiring line of sight, later it became a priority roll win 1x per game... what is it now?

The latter. He can choose to use before an priority dice are rolled to instant win it.

He was Ridiculously over powered in the first edition of the game, and it was not until the "One Ring" edition that this was rectified.

I do remember he could use any spell except sorcerous blast through the Palantir once per game if im correct... or all the turns if needed

The first edition he could actually sorcerous blast via the palantir, the Two Towers and the Return of the King editions of the rules he was tuned down and could do everything but sorcerous blast through the palantir. Off the top of my head!
