Just a few questions from this weekend's gaming. Can a hero use might to adjust a fury roll, spell provided by nearby shaman? If a hero calls heroic strike in base contact with a bat swarm, which applies first the +d6 Strike or the halving from the swarm? Can a banner be passed to another model if the warrior carrying it dies while prone on the ground? Likewise can a banner provide the re-roll to nearby models while the bearer is prone on the ground? |

1. yes if it is his own fury save 2. Maximum fight value when in contact with a bat swarm is 5 because it halves your fight regardless how much it's buffed by. 3. I know in the old rules a banner bearer had to be standing for the banner to work there is no mention of this rule still applying (a bit like ponies not actually being cavalry until the hobbit rulebook) I hope i helped |

1 I would be inclined to say yes as its a "special" fate roll 2. I would assume the halving comes second as its the same effect as transfix (which the rules directly speak to) 3. Yes as long as they are in "base contact" or as close as possible. And I would say no the banner is not "visible" to inspire the other warriors. This is not directly addressed in the Hobbit rulebook so for myself I look at what previous rules stated and what would logically make sense (which is in the rules lol) Edit: got beat to posting I see lol |
