As I feel the hobbit rules have complicated the matter of Mumakil I have A few questions I cannot deliberate a logical or playable answer to. Mordor Troll drummers' allies all bennefit from an extra 3"/8cm move right, would that mean the mumak could trample the equivalent of a nazguls flight? Bear in mind, I am aware of the fact if it fails to kill, it technically charges, which would not normally be allowed by a Drummer Concerning Heroic march; beacuse the mumak profile is pre hobbit, it says He(the commander) can only perfom heroic moves, heroic march being a kind of heroic move (albeit with a different outcome and not out of phase) could the commander call a heroic march, and if so would my previous point on the drum apply A grey area right also If a mumak wins a combat does it get to trample again (D6")if it ellects to barge |

I think its says that the Mumak's movement can never be increased but I wouldn't swear to it. The second question is yes though, they could trample again. |

I do not have the rule-book either, soon to purchase it though, but Grungehog you come up with some truly brilliant scenario questions lol, the points may seem small enough but obviously they would be very significant on the battlefield |

Mumaks cannot use the brutal power attacks. Check the FAQ. Edit: Hmmm cannot see anything in either FAQ's that say they cannot use brutal power attacks. Swear I saw something that said otherwise. I know in the previous rulebook mumaks couldn't heroic combat. Something for Mr G when I'm next at WHW. |

Mumakil are monsters, it says in the brackets. Effectively granting them a trump card when it loses priority, and wining the combat I just wanted to make sure that was clear, as for the question on can the commander/beast master call a heroic march is still unclear. |

To be honest, I don't see why it couldn't trample - it hasn't attempted to wound and it has a limited move distance - effective, but not overpowered I don't think. Well, maybe a little. |

The Mumak rules were written before the Monster rules in the Hobbit. I hope they FAQ it, as the Mumak is plenty good already. Personally I'd house rule that the Mumak is unaffected by drummers or anything else. It's not affected by spells either, so that would fit. And besides, it might find the sound of the drummer more annoying, and trample him instead! |

Concerning the drummer, the answer was to be found in the faq MORDOR concerning drummers, the answer is NO the mumak does not receive bonuses from drummer |
