What's the official stand on Riders of Rohan & bows.

Does the 33% bow limit still apply?

For example, 3 war bands of infantry (sword, spear, bow)

1 war band of captain/ 5 riders of Rohan & bow?

I presume its illegal but In the back of my mind the riders are given some kind of leeway and I cant remember if I've just made it up.

any help would be grateful thanks!

Yep, they don't count towards your forces' bow limit.

RoR don't count towards your bow limit, but the 33% limit applies to the rest of the army.

Check the FAQs:
Kingdoms of Men: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_Cus ... PRIL13.pdf
The Hobbit: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_Cus ... PRIL13.pdf

Riders of Rohan are, in a sense, like heroes now: while carrying a bow, they do not count as such for the bow limit, but neither do they count as a non-bow carrying model; they simply are ignored completely.
