The trolls: Bert and Tom

Tom, the skinniest of the trolls, in the movie has a cold and gives Bilbo the snot shower, yet Bert has the Lingering Cold special rule. The descriptions are also wrong, Tom is clearly the weakest of the trolls and should be F6. The names and models should just be swapped to portray them correctly in the game.

Did GW make a mistake or do I see ghosts? I just find it annoying to have wrong rules for the wrong models.

You are correct- it's a mistake. They've got the names mixed up!

Remember GW made their rules from early scripts so it is possible that the trolls were swapped round at a later date by PJ. Having spoken to members of the dev team, they are embarrassed at the mistake but nothing they can do now.

My fishy senses are strong, it's a pity GW did such a mistake.

They could FAQ it, but I guess it's too minor. Still a bit annyoing.

Yeah I noticed this when I printed out the profiles from their website (only have the small rule book). Odd... :-)

i know when i got the email with the attachment for the stats and rules i was excited, when i realized that they had messed up profiles, i mean it kinda of disappointing but hopefully other gamers will put swap the profiles. I mean it would be easier(and make more sense) in game because the troll with the smallest arms would logically have the lowest strength stat. oh well it's an easy house rule fix, and people do make mistakes.

It made me angry (saw it immediately when i got my book) because i dislike tom and like bert (doesn't mean tom is a bad charcter or bad design or anything), because I wanted Bert to be better.

just swap the stats, easy fix for you then, and Bert is where you want him.
