After a hero gets into combat and calls a Heroic Combat, defeats the guy in front of him and moves to a nearby enemy and kills him, how many times can the hero move and attack adjacent figures? Is it until the hero fails to kill, or can he only move and attack once after the initial combat? It seems to me that if he could move on indefinitely then a single hero could potentially change the tide of the battle, but I think this is the whole point of a Heroic Combat, is it not?

Hero that calls a Heroic Combat and kills the opposing models in the fight, can move again and charge another enemy model(s) if they are in his moving range. He can move once that way, I suppose.

But what if Hero moves to another Heroic Combat? Let's say that Aragorn is fighting with orc, and calls a Heroic Combat. There's another fight; Boromir vs. Orc. Boromir has called Heroic Combat too. Aragorn kills the orc and moves to help Boromir. They kill the orc and charge more orcs. Is that possible?

A model can only ever benefit from one Heroic Combat, so he could fight only twice in total, similarly, a Monstrous Hero cannot take part in a Barge attack and Heroic Combat in the same turn.

So, you can never fight more than twice in total per phase.

Gothmog is right, a Hero can only benefit from one.

Also if the Hero calls a heroic combat and fails to kill the models he was facing, he doesn't get to move on. :)

Thanks for clearing this up guys, it's been a big help.

@ Highlordell yeah I got that part, I was just curious about how many times the hero could defeat, kill and move on, which Gothmog cleared up for us :)

Whats the ruling if a hero calls a heroic combat whilst in contact with a multiple wound model ie a captain? Then only inflicts 1 wound and the capt is then knocked back can the hero then charge and fight him again?

No, he has to kill the model he's fighting for the heroic fight to kick in.
