Just wanting to make sure I still have a spear supports correct.

If an Evil model is fighting as a spear support, can it be targeted by Good bow fire?

If a model fighting as a spear support, that is touching a friendly banner, that is not fighting.... if the banner is killed by bowfire or spell, can the spear support pick up the banner? If so, it no doubt ceases to be a spear support?

Cheers
Scott

The answer is yes to the first question.
A spear carrying model can certainly pick up a fallen banner in the way you describe also. I too would presume that it no longer holds a spear at that point, but I don't know for certain. Someone wiser than me will no doubt be along shortly!

I think when a model with spear bases his ally that its considered in combat .Hence good bowmen can't target him.

No, he's not in the fight, so he can be targeted. Evil doesn't risk hitting their own model either.
