Hi was wondering if it was possible to feint and go two handed with the same model? Its just that with the +1 to wound you never really roll a one as all rolls are boosted. Is there a order of operations in which bonuses are applied that allows you to re-roll the one? Thanks in advance.

You can feint. From what I understand a 1 is still a 1 when you roll it but is considered a 2 for wounding purposes (confusing right?). So you still re-roll it

Thanks for the reply. Yeah the rules are not very clear on this so its only when you consult the to wound chart that the +1 bonus is taken into account? Just trying to get an order in my head in which things are applied. It seems like the sort of thing that two different players can come to a completely different conclusion on.

You can't feint and go two handed because special strikes are for hand weapons only, not 2hws as well

In the feinting section of the rules book it only says that the model must posses a sword or dagger not that it is dependent on if it is of the one-handed or two-handed variety. Is there another section where this says otherwise? If so can you tell me the page number so I can read it. It seams like GW did not think this out.

you can do special strikes with 2H weapons, some strikes even have added bonuses when going 2h (base springs to mind).

Respectfully, I think this is incorrect. The rules do not specify hand weapons only.

Indeed he does, being probably the best hero in the game for his points, but only ever take him with a shield. Then he can cut through anything most of the time and then being your leader, shield when it matters with F9 and 6 dice. Just unstoppable!
