Post subject: | Question about falling |
Hello everyone, I've got a quick question: How would you handle a situation where a model loses a fight and is forced to fall off a ledge (like in Goblin town), while the area where the model will land is populated by other models. Would the models simply "make way" for the falling model? What if they themselves are engaged in combat. Would the falling model cause any damage to the models underneath? Any thoughts welcome! |

My initial thought would be, as you suggest, to simply make way, but a house rule could perhaps be applied, as I do not believe such a situation is covered by the official rules? What do you think of this: "If a falling model would land on top of another, or several other models, this/these model(s) is/are moved, by the shortest possible distance, to make way for the falling model. This/these model(s) is/are knocked prone, and suffer a hit matching the falling model's strength". I can see how odd situations, where the hit model(s) are unable to move because of other models or terrain, are not covered by the rule above, but it's a start |

That's actually pretty close to how we dealt with the situation. Except we did the same number of strength 3 hits that the falling model took. I just find it interesting that it's not covered in the rules when this situation actually comes up a lot with table set ups like Goblin Town. |
